Facial Pre & Post Care

THE GOAL WITH OUR FACIAL TREATMENTS ARE TO MAINTAIN THE HEALTH OF YOUR SKIN, THOROUGHLY CLEANSE AND EXFOLIATE THE SKIN, PREVENT UNWANTED SKIN CONDITIONS, AND IMPROVE OVERALL RADIANCE. 

• 2 weeks before treatment, avoid excessive sun exposure (tans/burns/tanning beds/spray tans) to prevent skin sensitivity or adverse reactions.
• Avoid bleaching, waxing, or using depilatory creams in the treatment area.
• Inform your provider if you are pregnant, have any new allergies or medical conditions, or start any new medications

• Avoid vigorous exercise or activities resulting in sweating for 24-48 hours post-facial to avoid a breakout
• Use freshly laundered pillowcases and towels after your facial.
• Sanitize items that came in contact with the face such as cell phones or glasses
• Re-apply sunscreen every 2-3 hours to prevent sunburn or sun poisoning. 
• Slight flushing of the skin and puffiness around extraction sites is possible immediately after facials. Every individual has unique skin reactivity and histamine responses. 

• Facials should be scheduled once a month to keep up with your skin's natural turning cycle which is 28 days on average. 
• Returning for monthly facial services with your provider ensures a healthy relationship with your skin, a deeper understanding of your unique skin conditions, and a better plan of action for any corrective treatment
